A message from our Director
When I first held my daughter, everything I thought I understood about care changed in an instant.
For more than thirteen years I have worked in technology — building systems, solving problems, and watching how thoughtful design can quietly make life better. Technology has transformed almost every part of how we live, learn and connect. Yet somewhere along the way, I began to feel that healthcare — the one thing that matters most when it comes to our children — had not fully received that same care and imagination.
I believe it should. Not by replacing the human touch, but by protecting it.
MedKid Care was born from that belief. As a father, I know the quiet worry that sits with every parent late at night — the endless questions, the search for someone you can truly trust with your child. And as someone who has spent a career in technology, I also know how much of that worry eases when compassion and innovation work together rather than apart.
That is the heart of what we are building: a place where a doctor still listens without hurrying, where genuine medicines and honest advice are never in question, and where ethical medical practice is supported by technology thoughtfully designed to make the whole experience calmer, clearer and more reassuring for the people who matter most — your family.

Visit a doctor at a clinic near you with a FIXED serial number — no long waiting — or consult by video from home. Here's exactly how, step by step.
Getting started
Step 1 — Choose how you want to see the doctor
On any page, use the coloured strip at the top: tap “Book Clinic Consultation” to visit a doctor in person (you get a serial number and an approximate time — no sitting in a long queue), or “Book Video Consultation” to talk to a doctor from home. Most families use the clinic visit; video is there whenever travelling is hard.
Step 2 — Sign in with WhatsApp (no password)
The sign-in page is made for patients: type your 10-digit mobile number and tap “Send code on WhatsApp”. Enter the 6-digit code we send to your WhatsApp and tap “Verify & continue”. First time here? Just type your name — that's the whole registration. (Prefer email? Tap “More sign-in options” for Google or an emailed code.)
Step 3 — Find your doctor or clinic
Browse the doctors and open the one you want — their profile shows every clinic where you can book them, with each clinic's hours. Or start from “Find a clinic near you”: search by clinic name, doctor name or department, add your PIN code to see clinics close to you, and pick a visit date to see only the clinics and doctors sitting that day — with fees and directions.
Step 4 — Book your clinic visit (pay at the clinic)
Pick a day — each day shows exactly what you'll get, e.g. “Serial #3 · approx 6:30 PM · 4 left”. Tap “Confirm booking · pay ₹___ at clinic”. The consultation fee is paid at the clinic itself, and the exact amount is always shown before you confirm. Your serial number and approximate time arrive instantly on WhatsApp.
Step 5 — On the day of your visit
Open your “Patient Dashboard” to watch the LIVE queue — it shows which serial is running now, so you arrive just before your turn instead of waiting for hours. We also message you on WhatsApp when the doctor is in (or running late). At the clinic, give your serial number at the front desk.
Step 6 — Or consult by video from home
Choose “Book Video Consultation”, pick a doctor and a time slot, and tap “Proceed to pay ₹___” — pay by UPI, card or net-banking (Razorpay). At your slot time, open the booking and tap “Join video consultation” (the button turns on 10 minutes before): the call opens right inside MedKid Connect — no app to install, just allow camera and microphone. The link also comes on WhatsApp and SMS.
Step 7 — Prescription, receipt & records
Clinic visit: once the doctor completes your visit, open the booking and tap “Download prescription (PDF)”. Video: it's ready right after the consult, along with “Download receipt (PDF)”. Everything stays saved in your account — and you can upload old reports under “Medical reports” so the doctor sees them.
Step 8 — Booking for your child or family
Add your children or parents once as family members, then pick who the visit is for while booking — the prescription is made in THEIR name. Can't sign up yourself? The clinic's front desk or a referral partner can register you and book on your behalf; everything still appears in your account.
Step 9 — Changed your plans?
Open the booking to reschedule (one free reschedule) or cancel. Cancelling a clinic visit releases your serial — the consultation is only ever paid at the clinic, and any online booking fee comes back to you as a refund or wallet credit that is applied to your next booking automatically. Video consultations are refunded in full when cancelled more than 2 hours before the slot. If the clinic declares a holiday or your doctor takes leave on your day, we message you at once with a link to reschedule or cancel.
Step 10 — Your account & privacy
“Edit profile” on your Patient Dashboard updates your details. If your bookings were credited to a partner, the dashboard shows it and you can remove it — it never changes what you pay. To leave, tap “Delete my account”: your personal data, family profiles and uploads are erased immediately (clinical and payment records are kept as the law requires). You can't delete while a booking is still upcoming — cancel or complete it first.

- On a booking → live queue / “Join video consultation” / “Download prescription (PDF)” / reschedule & cancel
- Leave → “Sign out” (top-right, on every page after login)

Patient — common questions
Yes — open your Patient Dashboard and tap “Delete my account”, then type DELETE to confirm. Your contact details, identity documents, family profiles and uploads are erased immediately and you're signed out. Prescriptions, bookings and payment records are retained as medical and tax law requires, but no longer linked to any personal details. If a booking is still upcoming, cancel or complete it first.
